Following his advanced fellowship training in Texas and Florida, Dr. Gupta was hired to the faculty of the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio as an Assistant Professor of Surgery.
During his four years of practice in San Antonio, Dr. Gupta served as the Chief of Breast Surgery and Reconstructive Microsurgery and was the associate program director for the plastic surgery residency program. There Dr. Gupta trained other surgeons in the highly specialized art and skill of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Since moving to San Diego in 2004, Dr. Gupta has built a very busy practice with multiple locations throughout San Diego County, including Vista, Poway, and Temecula.
