Dr. Keith Hurvitz is a native of Southern California. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and graduated with Honors. He then moved across town to complete his medical education at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Medicine.
He graduated from medical school with Highest Distinction at the top of his class, earned the prestigious Dean’s Scholar award, and was admitted into the coveted Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society.

In pursuit of perfection, Dr. Hurvitz sought out further specialty training after completing his Otolaryngology residency.
Instead of following with a limited 1 year facial plastic surgery fellowship as most ENT surgeons do, Dr. Hurvitz applied for, and was accepted into, a full 3 year General Plastic Surgery residency program at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) Medical Center. While there, he broadened his skills in surgery to encompass full body plastic surgery.
In addition to becoming proficient in cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, he also learned the skills of body contouring procedures such as abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), liposuction, and body lifting. He has since published peer reviewed papers on both the topics of abdominoplasty and liposuction. While still at UCI, he worked closely with many experts in the field of Plastic Surgery, including one of the world’s most renowned rhinoplasty surgeons.
