Dr. Snyder continued her studies at Boston University on a merit scholarship to complete her Doctorate in Dental Medicine, graduating summa cum laude and first in her class. After dental school, she relocated to the beautiful bluegrass country of Lexington, Kentucky for training in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Snyder completed her six-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Kentucky, becoming the first woman to complete this training at the University of Kentucky. As part of her training, she completed her medical degree, graduating with distinction, and completed training as an anesthesia resident physician for five months, as well as a general surgery preliminary year. Dr. Snyder worked in a broad-scope oral surgery practice in Long Island, New York as an associate prior to moving to the Bay Area.
