Dr. Pennau received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from St. Olaf College, where he also played four years of NCAA, Division III football, and competed in amateur boxing. He graduated on the Dean’s list from the University of Washington, School of Dentistry, and stayed on at the University of Washington for another four years of specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
