Dr. Harvey was born and raised in South Africa. She earned her undergraduate degree from Scripps College and her medical degree from Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Harvey spent the last nine years serving on active duty with the US Army, which included a combat tour to Afghanistan and an ophthalmic medical mission trip to Guyana. She completed her transitional internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii.

Dr. Harvey began her ophthalmology residency training at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Hospital Education Consortium (SAUSHEC). She then completed her residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Washington State, where she was the co-chief resident.
Dr. Harvey has enjoyed teaching and mentoring ophthalmology residents, while staying up to date with surgical techniques, surgical technologies, changes to clinical guidelines, and treatment recommendations.
Dr. Harvey has been published in medical journals and has presented at national conferences across the country. Dr. Harvey is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
Dr. Harvey is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in the diagnosis and surgical management of all cataract types, including standard and premium intraocular lens surgeries. She is experienced in diagnosing and treating diabetic eye disease, dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, and cosmetic ophthalmic concerns such as Botox injections. Dr. Harvey is also experienced in utilizing laser vison correction of refractive errors.
